Ball Mill
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The ball mill is one of the widely used high-fineness grinding machines in industrial production. It is a key equipment for further crushing materials after they have been initially crushed. Ball mills are suitable for grinding various ores and other materials and are widely used in industries such as ferrous and non-ferrous mineral processing, cement, construction materials, chemicals, refractory materials, and glass ceramics. They can be divided into dry and wet grinding methods. Based on the discharge method, they can be categorized into grid-type and overflow-type ball mills. According to the cylinder shape, they can be classified into short-cylinder ball mills, long-cylinder ball mills, tube mills, and conical ball mills. Users can make selections based on their specific needs.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
This ball mill is a horizontal cylindrical rotating device with external gear transmission, two chambers, and a grid-type design. It mainly consists of the feeding part, discharging part, rotating part, and transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, and electrical control). Materials are uniformly fed into the first chamber of the mill through the hollow shaft by the feeding device. This chamber is equipped with stepped liners or corrugated liners and contains steel balls of various specifications. The rotation of the cylinder generates centrifugal force, lifting the steel balls to a certain height before they fall, impacting and grinding the materials. After coarse grinding in the first chamber, the materials pass through a single-layer partition board into the second chamber, which is lined with flat liners and contains steel balls for further grinding. The powdered material is discharged through the discharge grate, completing the grinding process.
