Shaking table
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
A shaking table is a gravity separation device used for beneficiating fine-grained materials. It operates by causing mineral particles to move in different trajectories based on differences in their density and size. The particles fan out diagonally from the feed launder and are discharged sequentially along the edges of the deck. Thanks to its long separation zone, it can precisely produce multiple products of varying grades.
The mineral processing shaking table is characterized by its simple operation, high enrichment ratio, effective separation efficiency, and high recovery rate. Compared to traditional methods, it offers significant advantages, including no need for chemical reagents, low energy consumption, and ease of management.
It is primarily used for the roughing, cleaning, and scavenging of non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals, and rare precious minerals such as iron, manganese, gold, tungsten, lead, tin, chromium, titanium, bismuth, and tantalum, within a particle size range of 2-0.02 mm (sand and slime). Additionally, it can separate pyrite in the 4-0.02 mm range. By appropriately modifying the riffle pattern, it can also be used for treating fine coal and coal slurry, as well as other materials of different sizes like coarse sand, fine sand, and slime.
ADVANTAGE
- It features high separation efficiency and stable operation. The deck is manufactured with a double-curved wave design, enabling the machine to achieve high processing capacity, high material recovery rate, high enrichment ratio, and exceptional separation efficiency. It allows for rapid production operations and ensures stable, long-lasting performance.
-
Equipped with Self-Safety Protection Functions. The shaking table is integrated with an automatic operation system and multiple safety protection features, including earth leakage (ground fault) protection, over-current protection, and overload protection. In the event of issues such as motor overheating or speed loss/control failure, the equipment will automatically cut off the power supply to the respective component and trigger an audio-visual alarm.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Components and Working Principle of a Shaking Table.A shaking table primarily consists of a motor, a slope adjuster, a head motion (or drive mechanism), a deck, a water tank, a feed launder (or ore trough), and riffles. The motor drives a belt to rotate a pulley. This rotation causes a crank shaft and a connecting rod to move up and down. The connecting rod is attached to the deck. Feed material is introduced into the feed launder located at one corner of the deck, while the water tank supplies a transverse flow of water across it.When the connecting rod moves downwards, the spring inside the frame is compressed by the backward thrust of the toggle plate and the reciprocating rod, causing the deck to move backwards. Conversely, when the connecting rod moves upwards, the tension in the spring pushes the deck forwards. On the deck, the material is stratified and separated based on its specific gravity and particle size under the combined forces of gravity, the impact of the transverse water flow, and the reciprocating motion of the deck. Particles of different densities and sizes form a fan-shaped pattern as they move across the deck, resulting in the separation of concentrates and tailings, thereby achieving the mineral concentration process.
